BOYS & GIRLS CONNECTIONS
RECOMMENDED FOR MIDDLE AND HIGH STUDENTS.
Boys & Girls Connections (BGC) is a program designed to empower students through social and emotional learning. By encouraging the development of skill sets such as conflict management, self-reflection, and relationship building, the program will equip participants with the social and emotional skills needed to succeed in college and beyond.

Students will:

Define conflict and better understand why conflicts arise

Explore their emotional responses to situations

Demonstrate healthy social and emotional habits

Learn how to build healthy relationships inside and outside of the classroom

Create a space of trust through discussions guided by one of our highly-trained Success Coaches

HOW IT WORKS
You and the CC team discuss your school’s needs and we customize our program accordingly:

We identify the right Success Coach/es to work with your teachers, students and guidance staff, in class and after-school, up to five days per week.

BGC curriculum aligns with the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning's mission to make social and emotional learning an integral aspect of education.
